About me

Born in 1974 and currently living in Derbyshire UK with my wife Jane and 2 sons, Louis and Noah!

Life is certainly exciting at the moment with new challenges, problems and rewards to face (and that's just the flat pack furniture in the nursery).

I've spent the last 12 years working for a local serial entrepreneur, previously at udate.com but now with the automated malware research company, Prevx. It has certainly been an eye opening few years. One minute you're a web developer cranking out banner ads for an online dating agency, the next you're designing and building core located data centres and performance tailoring database servers to support the latest centralised 'herd intelligence' anti-malware principles.

'Never a dull moment' only really applies to the weather here in the UK!

For more information about what I do, have done and would like to do I suggest you download a copy of my current CV, HERE.

As far as the photography is concerned, you can blame my father for that. I grew up learning all about shutter speeds, apertures, depth of field and all the necessary chemicals and time consuming methods needed to find out you'd left the lens cap on! These days, with the advent of digital imaging, it's obviously a little easier to recover your mistake and even I can produce something passable given enough time and the right lighting.

If you'd like to know more, or would just like to throw insults at the work I have listed here, please feel free to contact me.
